The front garden of this historic Dutch Colonial mansion on San Francisco's Billionaire's Row underwent a dramatic transformation from a simple black Mexican pebble ground cover to a formal entry garden that complements the home's grandeur. Despite its small size, the garden makes a significant impact. Design elements include a custom glass fiber reinforced concrete bench and a pair of elegant stark white urn planters, which create a striking contrast with the exterior brick facade. The planting scheme features boxwood hedges and globes that frame Hydrangeas, Zantedeschia, Convolvulus and Senecio. The centerpiece of the garden is a stunning 5-foot crane origami sculpture by Kevin Box Studios.
